Oatmeal Muffins don't require a bowl, just lots of butter and jam.
Ingredients
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Beat egg and buttermilk. Cream sugar and margarine. Fold into flour mixture by hand. Pour into greased or paper lined muffin tins.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.
