These easy-to-make muffins make an excellent breakfast treat.
Ingredients
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons applesauce
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Directions
- Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
- Mix together milk, egg and applesauce.
- Blend flour combination into egg mixture.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- Pour batter into prepared muffin tins.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
