Delicious candied walnuts made in the slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 4 cups walnuts
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Place walnuts in slow cooker, pour butter on top. Stir to coat well. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours. Remove the cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with the sugar and spices, stir well to coat. Spread onto a cookie sheet and allow to cool.
