Norwegian Irresistible Dessert is garnished with whipped cream, coconut macaroons and cherries.
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 package unflavored gelatin (dissolved in lemon juice)
- whipped cream, macaroons, maraschino cherries for garnish
- Whip egg yolks with sugar until foamy. Add stiffly beaten egg whites, dissolved gelatin and lemon juice. Mix well. Pour into a serving dish and allow to stand until firm in refrigerator. Decorate with whipped cream, cherries and macaroons.
