No Peek 5 Hour Stew

Cover No Peek 5 Hour Stew with aluminum foil and forget it.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 pound bag frozen corn
  • 6 carrots, chopped
  • 1, 12 ounce can V-8 juice
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Directions

  1. In a 9 by 13 inch baking pan, layer meat and cut up vegetables, tapioca and sugar, saving potatoes for the top.
  2. Pour V-8 juice over all. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees F for 5 hours.
