Navy bean and cubed ham soup.
Ingredients
- 2 cups dried Navy beans
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups cubed ham
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook the beans in the water until soft, adding more water if needed. Just before they finish, add in the remaining ingredients, mixing well.
