A quick and simple bean and ham soup.


  • 3 (16 ounce) cans navy beans with liquid
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


  1. Mix everything together in a large saucepan with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer until the onions are tender. Serve with cornbread.
