A quick and simple bean and ham soup.
- 3 (16 ounce) cans navy beans with liquid
- 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 cup chopped ham
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Mix everything together in a large saucepan with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer until the onions are tender. Serve with cornbread.
