A classic martini becomes ‘naked’ when the vermouth is omitted from the blend.


  • 2-1/2 ounces gin
  • 2 Green olives to garnish
  • 6 ice cubes


  1. Place a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Put the gin in a cocktail shaker, add the ice and stir or shake the mixture for 30 seconds until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and garnish with 2 green olives; serve immediately.
