How nice for just an intimate dinner for two? Mushrooms and Green Onions in Lettuce Cups are a great side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 2 green onions, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 large lettuce leaves
Directions
- In 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook mushrooms, green onions, salt and pepper until mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally.
- On each lettuce leaf, spoon half of mushroom mixture.
