Jazz up plain fish with a rich Mushroom Sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white wine
Directions
- In small saucepan, cook and stir mushrooms and onions in butter over medium heat until onion is tender.
- Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Blend in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in sour cream, mustard and wine.
