This vodka-based cocktail is currently making quite a comeback in NYC from its heyday in the 1950s and early 1960s. Serve in a traditional Russian copper mug.
- 1-1/2 ounces vodka
- Wedge of lime
- Cold ginger beer
- Dash of Angostura Bitters
- Place the vodka into a copper mug or cocktail glass.
- Squeeze in the lime and add the wedge to the glass, then add a dash of bitters.
- Fill the glass with cold ginger beer and serve.
