The sweet and spicy tastes of Morocco make a simple roast chicken and potato dish something exotic.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 3-1/2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for greasing pan
  • 8 chicken drumsticks (1-3/4 pounds)
  • 1 one-pound package wedge-shape oven fries

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and thoroughly grease a roasting pan with olive oil.v
  2. Place the cinnamon, cumin, paprika and cayenne into a bowl and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the olive oil and whisk to combine.
