Amer Picon is a French bitter-sweet liqueur and apéritif with a slight orange character; it is traditionally served with beer in eastern and northern-France.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 ounces whiskey
  • 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce Amer Picon
  • 1 cherry to garnish

Directions

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and then stir the mixture for 30 seconds to chill.
  3. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass, garnish with the cherry, and then serve immediately.
