Molasses Pecan Pie is an old fashioned favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 8 inch pie shell
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup pecans
Directions
- Combine eggs, molasses, corn syrup and butter; blend. Make a paste of a small amount of this mixture and the flour, then add to remaining egg mixture. Add salt, vanilla and pecans and turn into the pie shell.
- Bake at 325 degrees F about 1 hour, or until firm.
