Molasses Pecan Pie is an old fashioned favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 8 inch pie shell
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup pecans

Directions

  1. Combine eggs, molasses, corn syrup and butter; blend. Make a paste of a small amount of this mixture and the flour, then add to remaining egg mixture. Add salt, vanilla and pecans and turn into the pie shell.
  2. Bake at 325 degrees F about 1 hour, or until firm.
