Molasses Pancakes make a nice variation from the traditional pancake.
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup bran
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons molasses
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions
- Place dry ingredients in a large bowl, breaking up any lumps. Add buttermilk, molasses and eggs.
- Cook on a a lightly oiled, hot skillet. Turn to cook other side.
