This cake is lighter and fluffier than banana bread, but with the same great taste.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Combine sour cream, sugar and eggs; mix well.
  2. Add mashed bananas, flour, baking soda and baking powder to mixture, blending thoroughly.
  3. Add nuts.
  4. Pour mixture into prepared 8x8 baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
