Marshmallow Topped Sweet Potatoes

Simple honey yams with a marshmallow top.


  • 1 (17 ounce) can yams, drained and cut in half
  • 2 tablepoons margarine
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows


  1. Slice the potatoes in half. Arrange single layer in a buttered dish. Drizzle the honey over. Dot the margarine on top of the potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven. Use the honey sauce to baste the potatoes. Spread the marshmallows over top. Continue baking until the marshmallows are lightly browned.
