Made from Scratch Brownies

Made from Scratch Brownies mix up in five minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Stir cocoa and baking soda in mixing bowl. Blend in 1/3 cup vegetable oil. Add boiling water; stir until mixture thickens.
  2. Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining 1/3 cup vegetable oil; stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt, blend completely.
  3. Pour into lightly greased 13 by 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool; frost, if desired.
