M and M Cookies are colorful and easy to make.

Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup M & M candies

Directions

Mix thoroughly the shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Add M & M's. Drop by teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
