This sophisticated cocktail, made with a blend of gin, Cointreau, Campari and dry vermouth, is named after the extraordinary French fencer, Lucien Gaudin, who was a world-champion in the sport up to his retirement at age 42.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce gin
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau
- 1/2 ounce Campari
- 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
- Lemon peel to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then stir the mixture for 30 seconds to chill.
- Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass, garnish with the lemon peel, and then serve immediately.
