There is nothing better than a family picnic, so tonight make a living room picnic for dinner. This low-fat pimiento cheese will take you back to a childhood favorite, but by using Greek yogurt, the fat content is dramatically reduced. Cheesy goodness still enjoyed with less guilt!


  • 1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 small white onion, grated
  • 1 jar (4 ounce) pimientos, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) block extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (8 ounce) block sharp cheddar cheese, grated


  1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
