Cherry preserves and allspice seasoned chicken breasts.


  • 4 (5 ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup cherry preserves
  • Dash ground allspice


  1. Dry the chicken and arrange on a broiler pan. Broil for 6 minutes, 4 inches from the heat. Brush the lemon juice on the chicken, flip and brush the other side with the remaining juice. Broil for 6-9 more minutes.
  2. Combine the cherry preserves and allspice in a saucepan. Heat through. To serve, spoon the cherry mixture over the chicken breasts.
