Low-Carb Candied Holiday Nuts

The low-carb version of a holiday favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 cups nuts (any variety)
  • 1/2 cup Splenda
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Dash salt

Directions

  1. Whisk egg white with water. Toss with nuts.
  2. Combine Splenda and cornstarch with spices and salt.
  3. Lift nuts out of egg white mixture, leaving extra in bowl.
  4. Add nuts to spice mixture and mix well. Arrange in single layer in jelly roll pan lined with baking parchment or foil. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
