Ingredients

  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 6-oz can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup applesauce

Directions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. Mix together egg, 1/2 cup lemonade, milk and applesauce.
  3. Blend flour combination into lemonade mixture.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
  6. While cake is still hot, brush with remaining lemonade and sprinkle with sugar.
