A simple basic syrup that can be stored for weeks. Perfect to keep on hand for blended drinks.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup lemon juice
Directions
- Stir the water and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Continue stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture turns clear.
- Bring to a boil and continue to heat for 1 minute. Remove and allow to cool. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
