A fresh and zesty lemonade that pairs well with lamb, poultry and stronger-tasting fish. Avoid marinating chicken or fish for longer than 3 hours so protein does not obtain a stringy or even mushy texture.


  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely minced
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger


  1. Place all of the ingredients into a blender and process until mixture is smooth, and then use immediately.
