Lemon Cake Top Pudding is light and tangy.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions

  1. Cream flour, sugar and margarine together in bowl. Add egg yolks, milk and lemon juice, mixing well. Fold in egg whites.
  2. Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish. Place in a large pan of hot water. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes.
