Lemon Butter Cream Frosting will generously cover a 2 layer cake.


  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 package confectioner's sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon rind, grated
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tablespoon milk


  1. Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar alternatively with lemon rind, salt, lemon juice and milk. Continue beating until smooth and spreadable.
