Simple and savory lemon asparagus.


  • 1 pound asparagus, remove tough stem
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice


  1. Slice the asparagus into 1 1/2-inch long pieces. Simmer in water for 6 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain.
  2. Combine everything in a saucepan. Heat on medium for 2 minutes. Stir. Serve while still warm.
