Simple and savory lemon asparagus.
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus, remove tough stem
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Directions
- Slice the asparagus into 1 1/2-inch long pieces. Simmer in water for 6 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain.
- Combine everything in a saucepan. Heat on medium for 2 minutes. Stir. Serve while still warm.
