Le Poulet Roti is tender roasted chicken flavored with garlic, butter and paprika.
- 1 whole roaster chicken, rinsed and dried
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 stick butter
- 8 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups water
- Place chicken in roasting pan. Put 1/2 of the butter inside chicken and the other 1/2 in the pan. Sprinkle chicken generously with seasonings. Place garlic in pan. Add water.
- Bake at 350 degrees F uncovered for 1/2 hour on each side to brown. Reduce heat to 325 degrees F, cover and bake for 2 hours or until tender and juices run clear. Add additional water if necessary.
