This creamy cocktail combines the rich flavor of port with spicy notes of nutmeg and the sweet-tart flavor of apple brandy. Adding the egg yolk provides the drink with body and additional smoothness.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce Ruby Port
- 1 ounce Calvados
- 3/4 ounce Cream
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
- 1 Egg Yolk
- Grated nutmeg to garnish
Directions
- Place the Port, Calvados, cream, simple syrup and egg yolk into a cocktail shaker and vigorously dry shake the mixture for 40 seconds to combine.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then vigorously shake the mixture for an additional 30 seconds; strain into a cocktail glass.
