This 1930s Savoy classic cocktail combines Canadian whiskey, French Vermouth and a touch of absinthe, Maraschino liqueur and Angostura bitters.

Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
Stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
