This 1930s Savoy classic cocktail combines Canadian whiskey, French Vermouth and a touch of absinthe, Maraschino liqueur and Angostura bitters.
Ingredients
- 2/3 Canadian Club Whiskey
- 1/3 French vermouth
- 1 dash absinthe
- 1 dash Maraschino liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
- Stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
