Ingredients
- 4 lamb shanks
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 1 can tomato puree
- 1 large bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
- Par boil shanks in salt water for half an hour.
- Remove shanks and arrange in baking dish.
- Pour tomato puree over shanks and add 1 can of water.
- Add the garlic, oinons, peppers, salt and pepper to shanks.
- Cover loosely with foil.
- Bake in 400 degree F. oven.
- Bake 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
- Best when served hot.
