Ratafia, a sweet liqueur made from wine, brandy, fruit and bitter almond, is combined with cognac, fresh lemon juice and white wine in this rich cocktail blend.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces cognac
- 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon ratafia
- white wine
- red apple to garnish
- cinnamon to garnish
Directions
- Place the cognac, lemon juice and ratafia into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Top the drink with a splash of white wine and then garnish with the apple slice and a dusting of cinnamon; serve immediately.
