La Batida Rosa

This cocktail, which translates to “Shaken Rose,” is a light, effervescent blend of cachaça, pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice and grenadine.


  • 2 ounces cachaça
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce grenadine
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 3 ounces Cold soda
  • Lemon wheel to garnish


  1. Place the cachaça, pineapple juice, lemon juice and grenadine into a cocktail shaker filled with cracked ice.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds and then strain into a wine glass with fresh ice cubes.
  3. Top with the cold soda, garnish with a lemon wheel and serve immediately.
