Use this notorious Kentucky Street dry rub on cuts of beef, ribs, pork shoulder and lamb. The rub keeps for up to 6 months in a tightly sealed jar.


  • 3 tablespoons sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder


  1. Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well to combine. Use the rub immediately or store in an airtight glass jar until ready to use.
