Kelly's Stew is baked in a covered casserole dish and served over noodles.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 6 medium carrots, cut into pieces
  • 1, 16 ounce can tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoon tapioca
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 small can peas, drained

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except peas. Pour into a covered casserole. Bake at 250 degrees F for 5 hours. Stir every 30 minutes.
  2. Add peas last 30 minutes. Serve over noodles.
