Keepsake Brownies are super fudgy. Make sure to "keep" some for yourself.
Ingredients
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup flour, sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Remove from heat. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in walnuts. Mix and sift flour with salt; add gradually, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch square pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
