Tapas is the Spanish name for small plates of appetizers or snacks. Try this dish at your next Tapas-inspired gathering; the flavors are simple yet delicious.


  • 12 jumbo shrimp
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes


  1. Rinse, peel and devein the shrimp.
  2. In a medium-sized sauté pan, heat the butter over medium-high heat until hot but not brown. Add the shrimp and garlic and sauté the shrimp for 3 minutes on each side, continuously basting it with the butter and garlic.
  3. Transfer the shrimp to a small platter, garnished with lemon.
