This potent and complex cocktail combines a unique mix of rye with red vermouth, Grand Mariner, Bénédictine and mole bitters.

  • 1-3/4 ounces rye
  • 1/4 ounce red vermouth
  • 1/4 Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 ounce Bénédictine
  • 1 dash chocolate bitters
  • orange zest twist to garnish


  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish the drink with the orange zest twist and then serve immediately.
