A tasty and spicy soup.
Ingredients
- 2 hot sausage links
- 2 pounds white fish
- 3 small onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 package frozen okra
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 5 stalks celery
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 3 bay leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Directions
- In a skillet brown sausage.
- Blacken fish with pepper and paprika.
- Brown fish in a hot skillet.
- Saute onion, celery, green pepper, and garlic until tender.
- Add stock and tomato sauce, spices, vegetable and fish to crock pot.
- Cook on low 3 - 4 hours.
