Add green or red food coloring to Jalapeno Jelly for a festive flair. Serve over cream cheese and with savory crackers for an easy appetizer.
- 6 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1 cup green peppers, chopped fine
- 1/4 cup jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
- 1 bottle Certo
- Bring sugar, vinegar and peppers to a rolling boil. Turn off heat and let stand 10 minutes. Add Certo. Stir well and skim. Pour into glasses and cover with a thin coat of parafin.
