Cheddar and jalapeno packed corn bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix together the egg, milk and butter. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
