When you are using a marinade on your protein of choice, place the mixture is a glass or stainless steel container, never aluminum, as they will not react with the acid in the blend.
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 tablespoons garlic
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and whisk vigorously to blend. The mixture should resemble a thick paste.
- Put the steak into the bowl and coat on both sides with the marinade. Marinate for 24 hours prior to cooking.
