A tropical twist on the whiskey sour, made instead with gold rum.


  • 2 ounces gold rum
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish


  1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker, filling three-quarters full. Add everything, cover and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice and a cherry.
