Corn bread with a different twist.
- 1 cup white corn meal
- 1 cup white cream corn
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1 cup bisquick
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 small can diced ortega chilis
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a 10 inch square pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 minutes.
