When you need your caffeine fix, forgo that hot cup of coffee and beat the heat with a cool and refreshing drink. You can sip the usual iced or blended coffees or you can make these popular pick-me-ups even better by turning them into icy coffee cocktails.


  • 6 cups brewed coffee, room temperature or chilled
  • 4 to 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6-ounces Kahlua liqueur
  • Mint sprigs for garnish


  1. Combine coffee with sugar, milk, Kahlua, and ice in a blender. Blend until creamy.
  2. To serve, divide blended coffee into 4 to 6 glasses and garnish each with a mint sprig.
