Hot yeast rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 cups self-rising flour

Directions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Mix in the melted butter. Stir in the sugar, then the beaten egg. Finally, add in the flour. Continue to stir until well mixed.
  2. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a muffin tin.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the prepared muffin tins. Bake for 20 minutes.
