Hot Italian Cabbage makes a great dish for your holiday buffet table.


  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 large head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • dash black pepper
  • dash red wine vinegar
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • pinch dried oregano and dried basil


  1. Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add chopped cabbage and toss until coated. Add sauce and seasonings. Cover and cook until cabbage is soft, about 30 minutes.
