Hot Italian Cabbage makes a great dish for your holiday buffet table.
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 large head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- dash black pepper
- dash red wine vinegar
- pinch red pepper flakes
- pinch dried oregano and dried basil
Directions
- Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add chopped cabbage and toss until coated. Add sauce and seasonings. Cover and cook until cabbage is soft, about 30 minutes.
