Hot Fudge Sauce

Creamy hot fudge sauce for ice cream or brownies.


  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Mix together the cocoa, sugar, syrup, cream, salt and margarine in a saucepan. Continue heating, stirring often, over low heat until it comes to a boil.
  2. Continue heating for three minutes, stirring twice.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
